Matthew 7:1-29

And so we reach the conclusion of the famous Sermon on the Mount.

Do not judge. This is a safeguard for the heart. Sin that is clearly sin should be judged but not people. We have no idea where others have been or what they have encountered. There is a Judge and He knows everything, but we aren’t Him. In fact, we are only slightly more aware of the sins that plague our own lives; sins that may be obvious to all around us.

Our Father is gracious. Ask, seek, knock. He knows our sins and evil but still longs to be generous to us. We blame Him for all the bad times and forget Him in the good times. We should call out to Him in the bad times and thank Him in the good times, and all times.

Not every person with a “Prophet” lanyard is genuine. Many are false and those who are false are extremely ill met. Don’t be fooled. If their fruit is earthly then they are not heavenly sent. Anyone can do tricks.

And so, if you take this all in and allow it to be woven into the fabric of your life then no matter what comes you cannot be shaken. If you ignore this then any turbulence will send major tremors through your life and ultimately you will fall.

Amazing! Jesus is talking like… like He is God.
