Acts 22:1-16

Damascus Revisited

It has likely been some twenty years since Paul had his conversion experience on the road to Damascus. A lot has happened in those twenty years. Paul has traveled hundreds of miles (much of it on foot). He has seen wonderful miracles. He has seen great churches established. He has seen the dead raised. In fact, he was likely raised from the dead himself.

This may be Paul’s last chance to speak publicly. What does he speak about? What would you speak about if you had only one more shot? He goes back to the beginning of knowing Christ. The road to Damascus was where Paul met Christ, and regardless of all that has happened, all that he has seen, and how much time has gone by it all comes down to this - his testimony of meeting Christ.

When did you last share your testimony? When did you las think about your testimony? It is valuable. Do not lose it. Do not let it go. Paul obviously carried his close to his heart. That’s a good idea for us all.
